I'm trying to get some usable tones out of bias. So far, I've found 1 really good sounding higher gain amp on there (Framus Cobra).
It's actually an odd situation. The Framus sounded really good, fun to play, and tracked well. I doubled the track with the VH4 setting that comes with bias.. It didn't have that tiny sound I found so many other amps to have. Every other amp I've downloaded and tried sounded similar to an old zoom multi fx/distortion pedal. Almost like its in a can, or an old van down by the river.
Before the suggestion come up, I've attempted with both the cab bypassed, and almost every other cab option.
So my question, Who's using it and what amps work for you?
Here's my first attempt at recording both Bias and using Ezdrummer2 (freaking love that program)
https://soundcloud.com/chuck-dees-916047231/41-riffage (2 guitar tracks panned L&R and drums spread throughout the mix)
FYI
(I'm not looking to replace my real amps in the studio or live situations, but this is amazing for song writing or turning riffs into portions of a song. Finding other usable amps would be helpful for sure.)
