Preamp- effects advice please

New to rack systems but have decided to build one. Recently purchased a marshall jmp1 preamp and am now looking for a effects processor. I have the chance to buy a digitech 2120 preamp, my question is, is there a way to bypass preamp of digitech and only use the effects, leaving the jmp1 as my preamp, the 2120 looks good and is going at good price. any advice would be appreciated thank you

If you can find one, get a Marshall JFX1. The JMP1/JFX1 combo just sounds excellent together. Can't comment much on the 2120 but I believe you can bypass the preamp section on it.
