Hi !

I have a problem with my VH4.
Here the signal path : guitar --> Diezel VH4 --> Diezel 4*12 RL

the guitar is OK (my tuner find the signal).
All my cables are OK (tested).

When I push up the volume, I can hear a "hummm", but no sound.

All tubes are light up, all fuses are OK (no lights near the power tube fuse).

Do you have an idea to fix my problem ? :aww:

Thanks !

My speaker cab is OK.
How I can check the cabinet ? I don't have another amp to plung into it.

Main fuse is OK, and I think power tube fuses are OK too (no red light).

Have you checked the mains fuses?
edit: sorry, it's not this, that will cause the amp not to turn on.

I checked all these things again (except the cab), and I still have a "hummm", du no sound.
One week ago, everything worked fine

Can you change the channels by pushing the red buttons on the front of the amp?

Toggle the mute button a couple times for good measure.

Be careful and dont plug your guitar into the "thru" instead of the "in".............

I have seen it done before.......

Standby off, yes?
Mute switch - make sure it's not engaged.
Speaker/cable connections - make sure they're FULLY engaged into their sockets. Sometimes they don't latch perfectly.

They're fully engaged. I have tested and checked the speaker cable, but I will buy an another to be sure.

Do you have something in a serial loop that could block the signal ?

That's a pretty good shout actually. This happened to me the other day. I had one jack not fully engaged into one of my effects. It interrupts the whole signal path.

Thank you very much

The problem was my Hartlan flanger, in the serial loop.
I have an another problem now, but serious less.
