Agreed. Although I do like a bit of Dimmu Borgir. System of A Down had a few killer tunes, the rest is garbage.

Dimmu gets crap for sounding “too mainstream,” in other words, for their stuff not sounding like it was recorded live with a single 90’s desktop computer mic from the other side of a 50 yard storm drain. They actually went to a recording studio so they’re obviously total corporate sellouts, literally identical to any other manufactured boy band according to TRUE black metal fans who have never left their basements in their entire lives, so you know they know what they’re talking about.
