PU questions

Looking for a bridge pu that is mid relaxed. Always used Duncan Sh5 and JB. Got a mahogany maple capped build that is mega mids with a prototype Railhammer.

The Duncan Custom 5 may be worth a look. Or the DiMarzio Steve's Special.

I'd say a Duncan distortion or black winter. They both have that upper mid cut to them and are tighter than a JB.

Custom 5 is pretty scooped. So is this Custom/59 Hybrid, but also less output.

I use one in the neck position but it's worth a try, you never know. Stranger things have happened.

The Pegasus is my most used passive right now.

I'm a recent convert to the Custom 5 for certain guitars.

Until very recently, it came stock in ESP Horizons along with the Jazz at the neck. Those too together are incredibly precise and split very well for cleans.
