Me and Smash are in central Texas if you need any info about the area. I've been footloose most of my life and lived in a half dozen different states since HS, but the music and gigs have kept me here for the time being and tbh I'm having a hard time finding a "better" area to move short of going back to FL to be near my parents before they die.

I'm not much of a fan of DFW, Houston, or San Antonio. I can say almost categorically that there isn't a whole lot happening for worthwhile gigs in Houston or San Antonio unless you like playing empty strip mall bars in S.A, lol.

Austin isn't much better but there are still a few clubs that cater to rock and metal and life south of Austin isn't too bad.
