First time I saw them was in May 1991, so not long before the video posted. It was an incredible show, one of the best I've ever seen. Loved all their early stuff, not so much after Empire. Still one of my favorites, though.

I was at that actual show , my 5th time seeing Queensryche over an 8yr span, they did a lot of opening gigs. That ‘91 DOG was Metallicas first stadium headline show

Nice! I saw Metallica in November 1991 at the same venue I'd seen Queensryche earlier that year. It was a great year for concerts, both shows still rank in the top 5 I've seen.

Killer stuff! Thanks for sharing.
Caught them live many times - starting with their first tour opening for Kiss on the Warning tour, through Hear in the Now Frontier (and recently the Origins tour - not Queensryche, but still good).
I love RFO, but Mindcrime & Empire are my favorite live periods.
One of the best twin guitar teams around. They were not the same after DeGarmo left.

Does anyone know what model Wizard amps were available in 1991?

I thought originally both Wilton and Degarmo used JCM800's in 85/86/87 and then eventually went to some kind of rack setups and I think I read SLO's eventually?????????

I liked RFO and Mindcrime but Empire was my least favorite, it was still Queensryche but they seemed to be intentionally losing that harder edge to the music, maybe it was because Degarmo wasn't that interested in the band by that time.

hey pretty good stuff there. i heard of the band but i never bothered to listen to them.
I just assumed from the name they were a detuned DM band. not my thing.
Today was my first time listening
