What if God was one of us?You realize I'm a pianist, right. I also have more gear than God.
Ok cool thanks. So, there's history behind this.
"New".....ok Donnie!I'm new
If people are bringing shit from OTC to RT, then you have a legit beef imhoFair enough, but it's not a here and there. It's years and years everyday of people acting this way here and causing problems. It can get tiring and I'm honestly not trying to change it more than call out people who don't belong on a guitar forum. Whether it's my place or not, it's been heavily talked about by long time members in pm threads who are also tired of it.
If that makes you happy... but you can't take them with you and some cretin will crawl through your possessions and take them one day. They won't make you happy when you are about to croak and wonder what it was all about.

But complaining that OTC isn't like RT is like being mad that starbucks isn't like home depot
I have never seen so much string tension in my life
I think so tooSounds good man
Hardy Har Har"New".....ok Donnie!

I like the fret dots
There's like a dozen Dans hereThe multiscale makes the tension pretty even and nice. I've learned over time what gauges work best with specific scale lengths and tunings on them. So, not really terrible, tbh. Moderately helps with intonation, too. At least that's what the brochures sayI believe Dan has a few as well. He's actually a pretty good player, I'm just giving him shit.

I am also getting constant ear infections and went to the doctor today about it. I don't think expanding ear plugs are helping me - that often flares the infections up. Even my hearing aid has caused the outside of my ear to weep from what I presume is dermatitis in the last week. I have been prescribed some steroid cream today... I'm going to let my ears settle down and have some custom moulded ones done on Friday. I have pretty severe tinnitus at all times and have lost a good amount of my hearing between 2500 and 6500 hz. The worst dip is 45hz... mostly between 30 and 40hz loss. I have a bad back from a car doing an illegal hook turn in front of me and going over the top of it but I still have my two bikes. That accident was over ten years ago. Just gotta hope your number doesn't come up on motorcycles. Even then I rode like people were going to kill me but sometimes shit happens. Not sure that anyone knows what it's all about. I was in a motorcycle accident a few years ago and have major nerve damage that left me completely deaf in one ear and have a cochlear in my other. Not trying to sound victim or complain about it, but I've had issues with surgery that have given me infections in that ear and I will be completely deaf in a few years most likely.
So, enjoying what I can since music is my love and passion since I was about 5 . Perhaps part of my own reason for being "karen" about it and clips posted. Tbh, my gear collection is a bit extreme, but I'm trying to enjoy every moment of it while I can and give away what isn't inspiring me as much. So, in a way they are leftoversPerhaps, my Karen comes out for thinking others aren't realizing what they have, I dunno. Anyways, y'all have a good night. I will try to be less bitchy in the future.
Indeed.... it would also be nice if people could discuss like adults.
AFAIK, cochlear is a natural part of the human ear. Are you saying that you have a cochlear implant to help you hear? I hope you retain your hearing because that's bullshit if you lose hearing. Not sure that anyone knows what it's all about. No 'cause it's not spamming (different pic every time and only a few non-consecutive entries in the thread).@Monkey Man can you get rid of this bot spammer?
I interpret as she has an implant but she does criticise my comprehension skills (which are actually fine).AFAIK, cochlear is a natural part of the human ear. Are you saying that you have a cochlear implant to help you hear? I hope you retain your hearing because that's bullshit if you lose hearing.
