Sounds like you have a good summer planned. I hate campground camping but I got a woods out back that I been working on clearing out a couple different nice camp spots with a fire ring. I just get busy with other stuff and I don't wanna get bit by a kissing bug since they carry chagas around here, lol. I kinda want to set up raised wall tent glampsite I just need to put the time and some $ in and I'm short on both of those right now.
Where you planning on primitive camping?
My summer highlights are recording some more tracks, hopefully a couple smaller bluesfests in June, a bluesfest in Clarksdale in September and then a trip to Chicago to support some blues friends of mine. Really looking forward to that since I've never been to Chicago. I'd like to make it down to Buddy Guy's Legends. Things have been building, slowly, but they are building and it's nice to get out of Texas at least once a year even if there isn't a ton of money involved. I think of them like low cost play-cations, LOL.
