I had the GB V30 combo after seeing the Phil X Friedman BE100 demo but live in the room I didn't care for the tone and tried a few things before I tried the Scumback BMs. I loved the BE with the BM75s by themselves and with the V30 alone for heavier tones. That's what I still have today, 1 4x12 with V30s, 1 with BM75s. I'm not really looking for speakers anymore so that's worth the $$$ for me.

I'm running my Froedman with two BM75s and I love it.

The option is very alluring.

Ever try the V30 and BM at the same time?

Yes, but in separate 412s. Love the tones but your obviously hearing more V30 than BM75 due to the volume difference. Unless I stack the BM75 cab on top, I'd never be able to even it out using the same amp.

That's what I'll do.

I want to get another cab when I move to FL next year and I'll either get a 4x12 with GB/V30 or a separate one with whichever of the two I prefer.

I love my scums and wouldn't want to see them go.
