Haven’t seen that vid but seen a lot of his other ones. Has his own thing going on. Loves 80’s players and has his own take on guitars and amps. He can toss some chops out there.
Good effort and entertaining ?

I've known of Jay for over 20 years. Used to be very active on Lynch's site/forum back when it was kicking.

He's a really good player, but I honestly never thought he was close to sounding like Lynch. He has the picking hand and stage/studio moves akin to Lynch, but tone and phrasing isn't really there IMO.

I know this sounds like a hate post, but honestly he's a cool dude. I like what he does, I like his obsession with Lynch's gear and playing.

Doesn't sound like a hate post, just an observation post. I agree with you, I think he's a cool dude and that's why I tune into his videos. I also like what he does to cheap guitars with the burning and shaving the necks etc.. the guy is an all around artist. He's got his thing going and I admire that.

this lynch era has his most vicious studio shredding . So unique
‘Street Fighting Man‘ is basically the full meal deal tune....pretty much every standard Lynchism and familiar phrase is packed into it. Pretty aggro song.

I still have the tab in a guitar mag . Great stuff

Bc this is RT and that is the other part of RT that makes most laugh, try it...
Don't worry, I'm well versed in the culture of RT.. :gay::gay::gay:. Just interesting someone thought to throw that in without context. But then again, I suppose it is fair game given that we can't talk about Vinnie Vincent without mentioning his obvious transition.

Funny thing is, that's a picture of my aunt Brenda.

I almost feel like Vinnie was ahead of his time! He was already more than half way there in the Lick it Up video. It's like the elephant in the room though. I'd love some fan to ask him/her at a nerdy KISS convention or other.
