It is so great to hear this without having to endure Dawn Dokkens vocals. :)

Tell me about it

I still remember the first time I heard The Hunter

"wow holy shit this riff is awesome as fuck"

Then Don came in and it might as well be a completely different genre

I prayed to Randy so there is that....

Akira played f sharp accidental every single solo so theres that...

You got Sykes everytime he played.. Outside of Is this Love, was he ever really melodic or just flat out shred? (At this point you're killing it... I'm on your side)

Andy..... (You son of a bitch...) I'll give you Andy... Amazing. Black Horsemen haunts my dreams, best concerts I've been to.
Andy is understted af . Even with Death . Just killer

my first listens to Lynch were the Sacred Groove modded Park stuff. Killer.

I hear a metal pick and the Duncan demon and a style you know who it it is right away
Pretty sure this was Duncan distortion. Demon didnt come out till the Lynch Mob era. Early 90’s.
Correct me if i’m wrong that’s just what i seem to remember. Im old now and my rememberer dont remember things as well 🤣🤣

I'm sorry, to me he's not even a pimple on EVH, Rhoads or YJM's ass.
And as far as 'B' league 80's guitar heroes go, John Skyes, Arika Takasaki, Ronnie Le Tekro, Harry Cody, Andy Laroque are superior players IMO.
I hear his skill but I just don't like his never ending pinch harmonics in the lead breaks, sideways finger sliding vibrato and (IMO) poor sense of melody.
Good God, dude.... I'll take Lynch over YJM everyday of the week... YJM does sweep and harmonic minor for every damn thing he plays... Talk about poor melody. Lynch has great melodic instincts in his solos, while FatJob just sweeps the same Bach lines.... I'll take pinch harmonics/finger slides over scalloped frets EVERY DAY!

Damn bro, you came in guns ablazing on this take lol.

Barring YingYang and Andy though, all those guys are tops in my book. Hell if you had thrown in Vivian Campbell, Vandenberg, Schon and Vito that was pretty much my playlist during this era.

Could have been a SD Demon prototype but yes the DD was a Lynch staple.
I have early SD Demons in both these and they work well. Its "that" sound.
Also put "push/push" pots in there which is what George uses. Beats having to "pull" while playing.

Time to reload my ammunition:

Satriani, Vai, Nuno, Zakk, Jake E Lee, Tipton, Skolnick, Jeff Waters, Rocky George, Reb Beach, Mathias Jabs >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lynch :D

Push/push makes more sense for sure! Nice guitars. I need to pickup a Lynch esp soon. Never owned one surprisingly

Great ! I have two DD (neck and bridge) to put in my Jackson KV2 😎

It was so refreshing when that first Lynch Mob album came out. I was like, "Finally, George is playing with a male vocalist!"

And let's not turn this into an Yngwie hate fest. That Alcatrazz stuff, especially live and his first two solo albums were mind blowing.

I love Dokken. But Don was often the lackluster part. Especially today. Geez. Retire already

It's not very musical, it's just bursts of retardedness.
Its all subjective. Thats part of what makes music great. Something out there somewhere for everyone to enjoy

I didn't say I didn't like it, but I can certainly see why people don't think he is a good guitar player.
