Newest one, picked it up yesterday...

Sort of inherited this 1978 bass a couple yrs ago and put a fair amount of care into rescuing it. It was moved around + bad storage for a long time. It's complete and all oem with exception of the bridge saddles. Original saddles are trashed but I still have them. No big value but big headstock is cool and it thumps when I slap it. All electronics work and the neck's looking pretty good after a couple yrs w/4 strings actually on it.

My brother says I can play this thing at low volume through my guitar amp /4x12 - I'm scared to do it. What's up, can I without blowing a speaker?

It's the Doug Wimbish signature, has the Jazz profile neck.
