Well, there are those who DO take 2 amps, 4 cabs, pedal board and 4-5 guitars to a gig. The anti modeler crowd...RJF":1or5823s said:Yep, and it's usually the same guys that don't seem to get the "rig" concept and just post everything in these threads year after year. I don't know if they are thinking they are trying to impress, or actually don't get what a rig is. Beats me.Marc_Nitschke221B":1or5823s said:RJF":1or5823s said:IMHO, a rig is only a system that you play through individually. Meaning, if you have to unplug ANYTHING to play through something different, than it's not part of the current rig you are playing through.spguitar":1or5823s said:RJF":1or5823s said:A RIG is a collection of components that work in conjunction with one another to make up a single unit..right? What always sucks about these threads is rather than seeing a RIG it just turns into pics of everyone's stuff just piled together.
I use them all when i record or play live at some point. Does that count?![]()
Yeah. I'm always thinking the same. Some pics look like a guitar store not a rig...![]()

I posted my two RIGS. Rig = a collection of components that work in conjunction with one another to make up a single unit.
Further down in the thread I even posted the schematic of my Diezel rig. If you still don't get it, I can attempt to dumb it down some more.
But yeah, am I being picky? Yes I am, since the OP specifically asked for rig pics. But, some of us actually enjoy seeing people's actual rigs and what their schematics are that run them. Showing an entire collection where one amp at one end of the room that has nothing to do with another amp at the other end, and 14 guitars just clutters it up. We have plenty of "collection" threads that pop up annually around here too, for those that want to just "show off" every single thing they own and could fit in one picture.

God, lighten up Francis. Even the OP posted his whole deal, so I'm pretty sure he's cool with it. Start your own thread with strict rules of what you want if seeing other people's pics offends you so much.
