Skimming Youtube and saw this....wow...

I have a hunch this was more of an intentional jab at the STP guys than a drugged-out sloppy performance, but who knows...

Speaking of Richard Patrick, if you guys haven't checked out the Army Of Anyone album, give it a listen. It's a really solid effort and the Deleos are at the top of their game on that one. Richard sings great on it too, and the drumming is crazy good. Far better than the comeback STP album they did with Scott a few years back.

I think he's fixated on a bug sneaking across the room on the floor and dosent realize it... And hears himself singing in a way nobody else does :scared:

This wasn't just a jab at STP, most, if not all of the show is on YouTube and it's like that the whole set.

(Needs help putting on his jacket here)

He doesn't even realize he's not making it to the megaphone in time....every time...

(One of his solo tunes)

If he's not on drugs maybe they would help ? Everyone has good and bad days....

He just needs to quit wasting everyone's time and off himself...
:scared: Only on Rig Talk...
hahhaha! Well most guys here a while ago thought Metallica should give it up.
I say keep bringing it.
Who knows what they might spit out. ;)

Hey it's rock and roll its suppose to be reckless at times .

That was really one of the saddest performances I have ever seen. I have seen 14 year old local bands with better singers. :aww:

Maybe he just can't sing anymore? He already sounded like shit with Velvet Revolver when you watch old live clips..

Anymore ? You make it sound as if there were a time that he actually had vocal abilities.

it must be more than illegal drugs as mentioned earlier. Saw him a few years back while still with STP and he had that gaze like here...maybe Tom Cruise was right or the other countless mass killings linked to these types of drugs if he is on them.

Yeah, lets blame Medical Doctors & pharmaceuticals for Scotts 40 year drug habit.

That is definitely not Heroin he is on... looks more like a benzo (valium, lorazepam etc...) stupor, but it is probably a combination of many things in his system. Hes not there anymore... blank... Like his personality was completely robbed... I've seen a lot of mentally ill people in the same kinda head space, which is probably the result of anti-psychotic medication??

Maybe aliens abducted the real Scott Weiland and replaced him with a mentally retarded Scott Weiland clone??

Sad to see. If he still has a good bit of money, he needs scale back & just chill out for a year. Get his barrings back. From what I understand from his time with VR, Duff went above & beyond to help him fight his demons, because he also went though it. But I think that Duff just used what worked with him & it just didn't take with Scott. The last place he needs to be is out on the road. He's truly over the hard part, which was heroin & he's more than half way there.

He also knows he has a problem & that's another huge hurtle, but I don't think he's taken the time to really stop. Rehab works for some people & others it's not enough due to it being to arranged & structured. The pressure to stop within a time constraint doesn't allow the person to come to grips with their problem. They're always under pressure that way & they need to not feel pressure. I'm not making excuses for him, it's all on his shoulders & he needs to do it. It was hard to watch the Stern interview. He was really struggling with just talking & I do think it's what other have said, it's the anti-psychotics.

Glad the Psychiatric community could shed light on a cock-rock forum i was worried.

You do realize that there are people out there who have experienced things that you may not have experienced in your own life, correct? Just because we're all here with the mutual interest in guitars does not mean we haven't dealt with someone in similar conditions, or in some cases, been in similar states of mind.

You couldn't understand a word Ozzy said for years and it looked like he had Parkinson's, but it was the meds he was on. If you believe that anything a Dr gives you is going to be good for you and they're practices shouldn't be questioned, there's a good chance you yourself will end up like the rest of this country's zombie population.
