YES. The new XTC and SLO tracks sound better. Especially the SLO track. Honestly, as far as the tone on your 3 recordings go, It's a 3 way coin toss for me. They all sound very similar and really good. Live in the room I'm sure it would be much easier for me to pick a favorite.
Hard to pick a favorite, they all do their own thing extreemly well. The Bogner has a low mid congestion which is hard to tame, the guitar used here was a little dark sounding, so to be fair the XTC would have sounded better using a brighter guitar. The Marsha and SLO have more low end thump, the SLO is tightest the Marsha is the most "classic" sounding. Sorry to re record but I felt the original clips weren't doing justice to the STO or XTC. Having said that the Marsha clip was originally recorded quickly in one take, it's played a liitle looser, I didn't roll back the guitar voulume in the verses and the gain is probably a little high. (The Marsha will clean up on the guitar volume just as well as the other two).
Any of these amps will kill, comes down to personal preference, I could take any to a gig or rehersal, just depends on what I feel like on the day. Oh, one more thing to note is , the Marsha and XTC both have new tubes, the SLO is due for new tubes. Hope this helps for anyone who is amp hunting.
