They are Thornbuckers which are alnico 4 bridge and alnico 5 neck....

That was refreshing for a change because usually everything Pete demos is kick ass but this one for me totally missed the mark. Sounded grainy and artificial.

I had never heard of that before, but I just returned from playing a guitar festival in South America, and one of the other guitarists on the festival was Nilli Brosh, and she had brought that with her. It really sounded terrific.
