Why hasn't anybody who meets George steered him to Rig-Talk? :gethim:

He NEEDS to be a member here.
Savage offended him by telling him his tone sucked at a show awhile back and he hates rig-talk now. It's all Bob's fault...

You don't pick the stage name Bob Savage if you want to be subtle and nice to people. Look at Fred Savage. Notorious badass.

Well, I'll send Noodles from Offspring your way and the guys from Korn. I'm keeping Lynch and CC and Joe Holmes and Michael Sweet for myself though. Oh, and Kurt James, the guy who replaced Yngwie in Steeler. He freaking rips man.

Oh gee thanks!
In return I'll send you 2 VP's...
They can talk to you about "Leveraging synergies" and "Partnering with the business"...

VP's?! Vee Pees? What am I going to do with some noob VP's? I'm not sure you understand business at my level, but I will have you know that I am CEO of a multi-thousand dollar corporation. And by "multi" you know I mean more than one right? :scared:

Another casualty in the wake of Lynches amp-go-round antics.

When it comes down to it George is about exactly the same as many of us here. Tormented by the tone chase. Except to many (most) hard rock guys he is in the all time top 5 favorite/coolest players. And how many of us wouldn't take free gear from companies and favors and extra special deals in order to try and realize that perfect tone in our heads? And when we realized that a particular piece of gear wasn't it we'd sell it to continue the chase.

I personally know of a couple of companies that have flat out given George gear in the HOPES that it will become a favorite of his in exchange for a simple photo of him with the gear. Not an endorsement. Not George approaching them, but them willing to eat the cost of one of their items on the chance that it will be IT for George.

I don't blame him.

I almost feel sorry for hard core Lynch fans having to chase his gear history there's so much though.

Personally I'm happy if I can get in the general ballpark zone if I'm in a Lynch mood.

You posted that pic again for my wife didn't ya?

Good man......." But babe the guitar is from that cute guy in Cali...."

Regards, pretty cool George popping in at the store several times.

Dont go chasing any 2011 Stangs around with a GT badge Bug boy......413.

2011 Stangs? Is the 413 the hp or did you forget to put a zero on the end and you were quoting me the weight? :D
I have been on the track several times with several hot Mustangs and other muscle cars (not counting the new Vettes ) and because I can start braking about 300 yards later than them or sneak under them through corners it becomes the classic battle of trying to stay ahead of them on the straights while they try and stay on the track in the corners and stop before they go off into the desert. Good fun.

Stop watching Grand Am Racing Scott. Those aren't real Ford Mustangs. But they are racing against real, buy them from the dealer Porsche 911's and BMW M3's. Fair? LOL, by the time the Mustang is built to be competitive it costs over $100k more than the M3 or the 911.

So how did we get this off topic? Don't you have a driveway to shovel? You will sooooooooon!!!!!!!

I like my cars curvy with some girth

32v, quad ohc, aluminum block with 6 speed trannies now, add the GT500 brakes for $900, aluminum drive shaft for $300, rear seat delete, carbon fiber hood $700, recaro buckets, and some more slimfast diet and lets get it on.

Well, someone that has real track experience will be in mine

So true, if you're lucky enough to talk gear with him (I was a few times in the early '00s in a similar 'lucky dude behind the counter' situation...uh, there and I used to hang out at the Rainbow Bar and Grill a lot too...LOL) he lights up like a kid, or like I and most here probably do. :D Cool, funny dude, too - and seems like he can't wait to tell you about the new amp/pedal he's trying! One memorable quote after telling him I got into 1 3/4" nut width necks after reading he and EVH used them as a kid, He says "Still love those. Got some 2" necks too!" So I ask "How do they feel?" he replies..."GREAT for leads, SUCKS for chording!" :D Yeah, my top 3 would probably be EVH, Rhoads and Lynch.

As for manufacturers throwing gear at him - can you blame them?
