Ive had three QR, a three pre, which sounded the best, then a couple later ones. Sold the last when I got a fortin cali, but now im wanting another or a street rod to go along with it. imho, the clean channel is pretty good, and you might not *need* it now, but eventually, youre going to olay a song where you wish you had it.

You can't go wrong with a newer Quick Rod, but as noted, it likes some speakers better than others. I had five Marshalls and one Splawn. Now I have two Marshalls and am about to get my fourth Splawn.
