Splawn Nitro and Multi effects with Channel Switchers

I had a Line 6 HX effects that is supposed to switch amp channels. Never could get it to work right with my Splawn. Just hummed like a bitch. The Voodoo Labs channel switcher worked great.

that's another product I was looking at my self. Works great with the Splawn and switching gears?

Great. Thank you. Is the programming of it to perform such tasks like Channel switching, engaging Solo.. a complicated process?

No. Simple actually. It's been a while but basically you hold in a preset button to save the state the amp is currently in and it saves it to that preset.

So do I sorta go back and forth between the Splawn footswitch and the Voodoo. Connect the footswitch, set the amp channel, disconnect the switch and connect the Voodoo. select the button, save the state and repeat?

Exactly. The Splawn footswitch jacks use a TRS cable, so each jack controls two functions. I bought cables that had TRS on one end and 2 1/4" mono on the other. So TRS end in amp and two mono ends into Control Switcher. That should give you full control over every footswitch option.

Ah ok! so each jack on the Midi amp controller is a TS (Mono) and Splawn Jacks are Stereo. This way, each jack's Ring and Tip perform a specific function.

hey everyone,
hope you're all well. just an update to this, I decided go with a G-major 2 multieffects (already bought and own). I also have a Voodoo Labs Control switcher that allows 4 relays controls with Midi. waiting for that to come in the mail and will give it a try to see how it works.

Sounds like a good plan, since you already own the G-major.
I was also going to suggest the FX8 from Fractal.

Effects and relay switching. I've used it with my Splawn's and also with my Friedman's.
I like this because you can choose what effects go where and use 4CM to hook up everything.
Also easily add in expression pedals.
