100 pakker sigg er ca 7000,-

Det er ett år og tre måneder, ca, om du røkte like mye som jeg gjorde.

Good luck, I stopped a 1 1/2 years ago after 24 years of puffing.. It is still kinda tough sometimes, I have been freaking out without them during stressy times, but I cannot go back to smoking again.
Thanks, you have been good, I'm also afraid for the stressy times and drinking.

Congrats! Next week is my week, I'm tired of smoking. Too expensive, bad for you, stinks up the clothes, etc. I was going to quit this weekend until I remembered I was going to a concert this Saturday. No way I'll be able to resist the temptation.
Best of luck to you.

Do everything humanly possible to stay 'Quit'.

It is a terrible way to die. My mother died from emphysema from smoking. You just end up slowly suffocating. Panic attacks because you can't breathe. You body is oxygen depleted and gets all f'ed up. It is a terrible terrible way to go out. Can't tell you how awful it is to watch a loved one die from it. If you need motivation to quit, think about you mother laying in a hospital bed, sqeezing your hand with a terrified look on her face because she can't pull in a breath.

Good luck and do whatever it takes....
 sorry about your mother man, have a sick father myself. Should not have started with this shit.

You can do it! C'mon, it'll be a walk in the part to quit, just remember how much better you're going to feel once you're broken through, and how much your lungs will thank you! Get some nicotine gum if you need, and drink plenty of caffeine, since I've heard that it really helps cravings. I've never been a smoker, but I'm a health nut and get psyched when I see people trying to quit smoking.

I hopes so,Got some nicotine gum, but I think they taste like shit. I'm better of with some regular gum.

Take it from someone who just had major surgery... You are making the best choice for your life!

I can't stress enough how many times I was asked about smoking when it came to putting me under for my operation (I don't smoke at all and only did socially about 12 years ago)

Smoking totaly incresses the risk for general anestiesia issues and complications with surgery as post op your lungs can become get filled up with fluid and turn to pneumonia (they actually have this brutal medical term for it all) from the gas they make you breathe which leaves all this black crap in your lungs that i was coughing up for days afterwards... They make you do all these lung exercises 10x and hour too to keep your lungs clear for days after surgery because of that gas... it's a serious thing man

All I know is being a non smoker made all the Doctors involed with my case feel much more postive about everything while i in the hospital.

G.
Easier to quit now. :D
