OK... so what's the jist here?

Brass? Steel? Anything else? I assume these are the equivalent of the Gibson Tailpieces? Are there Aluminum trem blocks?

What's the difference? I assume brass is the most mid-forward and steel is the most wide-range?

It’s pretty much what you expect compared to the zinc blocks that are often stock. Brass makes things sound less bright, so yeah you could perceive it as more mid forward or more balanced overall, steel is still bright and stratty but not as thin sounding as zinc.

Callaham Bridges ..... check them out
This ^ it made a big improvement in my Strat. I went with the Callaham Base Plate and Brass Block with Highwood saddles.
