I quite fancy a Carvin 7 string.

I had one, it played and sounded great after a pickup change. (But sound is subjective)

No one likes to spend $3000+ on custom guitars but I don't do anything half-assed either or sell my self short. I knew when I bought my customs that I was getting top notch quality and the tone speaks for itself. I hated to spend that much but it was damn well worth it after receiving them. The attention to detail was exellent and the electronics, top notch. One sustains like a fucking siren

what kind?

One is a custom shop Jackson Soloist all mahogany (body and neck) with ebony fretboard, strings thru body, no trem. The other is a Tom Anderson older one. The Jackson is by far the finest instrument I've ever seen up close and played.. sounds like a freaking piano. The detail on that guitar is exellent and the tone is unbeatable. I have no clue as to how the thing sustains for so damn long (I have other neck thrus and they don't come close) or what they did so it could do so but I don't have anything that sustains as much as this one. The Jackson Custom shop is very underrated, they make incredible guitars. I had a custom ESP years ago and it couldn't compare to the Jackson custom, it cost me $3200 years ago and the newest Jackson was $3600 yet it kills everything I've played. The closest was a 70s Les Paul but the Jackson still kills it.

My guitar tech played a few of the Atlas guitar a couple of weeks ago at a local guitar show and was blown away, so much that he's ordered one.
He sadi the build quality was awesome, beautifully set up, frets were finished really well and they sounded fantastic.

I saw UK Lizzy tribute Limehouse Lizzy using them last month and they did indeed sound superb

Josh at rebel amps is an Atlas dealer.
I really like his website too
