I did not think I was doing that. I did not refer to welfare as a slant, pretty sure I said that. Please don’t insinuate that I was lumping everyone on welfare into one group because that’s NOT was I was doing. Frankly, with all due respect, this is your hang-up on the term welfare and what it means or doesn’t mean. I still consider unemployment to be a form of welfare. It’s an entitlement. Perhaps that’s a better term. Again, nowhere in this conversation have I cast aversion on anyone who is the beneficiary of a government entitlement. Some folks truly need help, and thank God for a government that can and does help those folks.
