Yeah dino’s right hand is legendary, I probably played along with him more than anyone else getting my right hand technique down when I was a kid learning. I never actually saw him in person which is kind of surprising

I saw FF last Friday night after all these years, for the first time, and they are just as tight as on the albums, Dino's tone was crushing.

New singer was on point, nailed the songs.

After their set, Dino announced they would be at the merch table signing anything and everything you could bring up, believe they were there until the last person left the table, top notch dudes, hell of a show.

Dino’s right hand is a fuckin’ beast, I learned “Shock” a few months back and it took me about a day before I could keep up with the entire song. I’m not a fan of using a really hard noise gate, so keeping the strings muted while playing at that tempo took a little finesse. If were playing that shit live I’d gate the fuck out of it.

Well that sucks . I know when he used digital ik the studio is tone suffered . Put on regenerate which is kemper than new somg with EVH . It’s DRASTIC. Absolutely zero aggression

Wouldn’t be surprised in the least bit. After 20+ years of lawsuits and lawyers I’d imagine the FF account was pretty slim on cash, I think the only reason there’s even a Fear Factory that exists right now was because Dino was able to pay for the lawyer fees to see an end to it all and buy the name out. Seems he’s doing all he can to rebuild the brand. I give the dude credit for being in the game as long as he has and he’s still willing to do the van/self-tech thing.

in the studio he's been using a Fortin Clone of his Marshall that was stolen years ago. live he's been using a kemper profile of that same fortin amp.

Wouldn’t be surprised in the least bit. After 20+ years of lawsuits and lawyers I’d imagine the FF account was pretty slim on cash, I think the only reason there’s even a Fear Factory that exists right now was because Dino was able to pay for the lawyer fees to see an end to it all and buy the name out. He actually bought the name just before the lawsuits or right after they started. Burton let his partial ownership fall off(apparently he forgot or couldn't afford it)& Dino had the option to purchase it, so he did.

I've spoken to Dino before about this and he's been using a Clone of his Marshall that was stolen. Not EVH. someone found a guy who had the same amp but the guy didn't want to sell it so the guy allowed for him to make a kemper profile of it and for Fortin to copy it.
