in the studio he's been using a Fortin Clone of his Marshall that was stolen years ago. live he's been using a kemper profile of that same fortin amp.
I just been watching his channel and it’s all EVH , plus the next song sounds 100 percent EVH so this is interesting. Even demanufsctre has 5150 on . Collin Richardson made him add that to all his records. Obsolete you csn hesr the Marshall more . But ya Dino does go back to EVH a lot . Remember guys tell their endorsements usually . Not what they use . I’ll have to look for his Fortin on the channel .love to hear it

it was $1300 a day back 15 or so years ago when i had a few friends touring, its probably $2k now

The average amount thrown out there is $10K a week and that’s just for the rental of the bus and the driver, diesel has to be figured into that as well. I can’t remember who was saying it, I think Brann from Mastodon, but when they went to go book a tour they couldn’t find drivers because all the drivers had to find something else for income during the pandemic and whoever was available was booked solid.

Which channel would that be? I've talked to him through facebook messenger & his Patreon page. He's never mentioned any 5150 on Demanufacture. he has told the story of his guitar sound being a bit Thin & needing something extra & that extra was oversized recto cabs that he borrowed from Dr. Know of Bad Brains. That was his sound on the album.

It's funny cause i can't find anything on the web to back up what you're saying.

Hahahah I perturbed Dino one time on Twitter a while back; someone asked why he wasn’t using Mesa’s back in the day as those were a bit closer in tone to the FF sound than a Marshall was. I said something along the lines of “Who knows, but back in the day you could find JCM800s for dirt cheap all day long while Mesa’s have always been fairly expensive” and Dino responded with “i like how people just assume how much money I have or don’t have, Mesa just didn’t have the sound I was going for”

Woah buddy, I think it’s pretty safe to assume most bands starting out aren’t rolling in dough. Shit, bands who have been around for years aren’t rolling in dough.
