I had a 2x12 Ampeg VH140C back in the day and it had the G12K85s..I read that they were same as the G12K100s...Celestion figured out they could handle 100 watts and relabled them.

If you want a similar speaker to the EV...try and find an old dv mark neo cab....it has Italian b&c speakers which are very ev like imho.
