Anyone else around here using THD gear ?

I do. Univalve for 1 year, Flexi for last 3 years; I will never sell this amp and will be buying another Uni hopefully sometime this year.

I also have a THD Series One Plexi and Bivalve. THD makes my favorite amps. The harmonics, dynamics and punch make them all great amps.

let's hear whatcha got--aka clips!

i was very impressed with eddie d.'s rig a few years back at NAMM when zach, mark, and i visited his booth.
he dialed in a dirty blues tone that cleaned up with the knob briliantly and was on a par with any blues tone from any amp i'd ever messed with. and i loved his shawn lane vigier setup. i like a cranked super reverb combo and an old peavey tweed classic 50 half stack type dirty blues tone.
And it still does it loaded down and way low volumes...

I fooled around with a Univalve and the Bivalve a bit when I worked for Guitarville. I tried the Univalve more. It was cool, but I didn't really put it through it's paces. It was cool enough to get me to buy an Ultimate Octave, however. I would love to try a THD 4x12 as well.

The price that guy was asking for the Bivalve had me positive that it was stolen. That would be a great price for a Univalve.

It was the extra low end on the Bivalve that made me choose it when I did a side by side with the Univalve.

I have only played with the THD 4x12 a few minutes.

Hey Ed, great tone. Thanks again for re-biasing my Flexi. I was the guy with the Floral Jem.

Yeah, Tapedeck is the man.

Thanks for putting up the new clip Ed. I feel a little bad about not having any good clips of my amps.

I am sure yours are better than what I would do any way.

Ed, Really enjoyed the Baker/Flexi vid... Some of the best tones i've heard.
I have wanted a Baker for a while now... did you get yours from Cliff?

Of course, there isn't any one else I'd order stuff sight unseen from...

Yep, Cliff is the man... It's fun talking gear with him at 3AM as well...

Ask Digi Jams some time about the time I took him, Kage and Ralph to Cliff's place on LI before he had started DAG.

like so...

at the end of the day, you could play most gigs outside of nose ring
/tongue stud metal with this clean to dirty vol knob rig.

The Flexi is different from a lot of amps in that I never get burnt out on the sound. Most amps I go on waves of love / hate. This does not happen with the Flexi.

And I do. :-)
I actually just did the same thing with the Axe...the new version through the power amp, the top has a much better spank. Lemme upload it...back in bit.

I've been hooked ever since that clip of Chris Poland playing through a Flexi found it's way to Youtube. I just need a THD 2x12.

Waiting for that and an affordable Anderson Hollow Drop Top to show up is vexing me.
