Wish you much luck on tackling the long road ahead. have a safe drive and be careful once you hit NC - state troopers do not mess around here with hidden speed traps. hope everything goes smoothly. Once you hit the mountains take a 15 minute break and enjoy the view - this time of year is prime time with fall leaves turning.

Jerry, if you head to the Charlotte area of NC it would be a pleasure to meet you

be safe, james. i hope you and nc get along well. lots of great amp/guitar builders in the area

Congrats on the move. I lived in Raleigh for 3 years and it seems to be good place to raise a family.

Thanks guys. just got up, spent the night at the La Quinta in Dallas. Half way there. The trailer with the SSL has done well, a few scary fishtail moments but I'm getting use to it and getting better at driving it. Driving today into Birmingham AL. Can't wait to get there, get setup and start making some noise.

Be safe bud! You're coming through a few of my former homes, as I formerly was a Dallas resident and now I live in SC. I applaud you for your decision to relocate for you and your family's sake.

man hope all is well James!! I was going to try and get over to your place yesterday, but work is nuts, few guys on vacation...and to top it off my mother is in town so no way I was allowed out of the house or my wife would string me up....hope everything went smoothly!

be careful. if you hear banjos you know what to do.........................

What an intense week, that drive out from LA pulling the desk was something I'd never want to do again, all the fishtailing was nerve racking. It was amazing when we got here all the helping hands that showed up, amazing. I've had local guys here for the better part of 2 days helping with everything from moving the SSL to setting up gear, configuring internet etc... Even without the treatment up yet the room sounds good. We were rockin' some tunes last night and it sounds fine. I think I'm gonna be ok here, I love this town, so beautiful and the people are soulful and caring. I will upload some clips today. Marko and I are gonna system check all the channels and outboard today, I have to clean up and get this place looking somewhat presentable cause I start work today at 4pm.

NICE DUDE!!!! Nothing like jumping in with both feet!!! Glad to hear you didnt run into any issues!

cool!glad everything is goin well.the big move is never an easy task.11 yrs ago i moved to OK.everything i owned fit into a '94 Chevy Blazer.stayed for 2 yrs of hell.when i left, everything i owned fit into Buick Century.

best of luck to ya!

Congrats on getting out of LA. North Carolina is one of the most beautiful states in the country.

goddamn that's awesome. I can tell there's a great vibe there!

on the other hand...... MOVING SUCKS DONKEY BALLS man!

We are D-D-D-DONE. Marko heads out tomorrow for a vacation with his family in NC and I'm off to make Raleigh a safer place to sing...lol As always Marko did an incredible job as did the mover and all my new NC homies. We are going to put up the panels tomorrow and do some finishing touches, other then that we is ready for business. Already started working and just got a call for a drum session, so God willing we will be ok. I have been uploading a new vid all day and it just keeps staling. AT&T Uverse seems kind of weak. We'll see.

Sent 2 pieces out today to be repaired, one of the VUs went on my 1178 and one side of my Nail died, so they are at Jeff Brown's shop in Durham. All things considered a pretty smooth move all-in-all.
