We use to do agony and misery every morning. Unbelievable. And then do PT at the bottom.

Yeah, I can say it was awful at the time... but looking back on it is very gratifying!

Best wishes to you and your family, man. I think NC is the only place I'd wanna live in the South. Hope you find peace there.

We'll miss you.

Now who're we gonna turn to for the West Coast Ampfests?!

The knock with this area is for years it was the place to move to, so the numbers of people moved here. Growth yes, but financial planning for that growth. Not correctly handled. The unemployment rate(actual unemployment rate) is through the roof..
People as a whole don't have money they need, for what ever reason. And I am sure there are many. Moving here with secured employment is fine, but with out that.. Hang it up with out extreme luck..
The smaller towns out side of Raleigh and the bigger cities in North Carolina bear a very clear view of a Bad economy. Wait till the Holiday season here in North Carolina this year. Then even the people that deny or disagree with this reality will see it. It is my prayer that things do get better... But ???

I'm gonna miss you guys too.

You're moving to a great town for music and gear ... I've lived in better towns for live music ... I guess the biggest downside is live music is not centralized, it's scattered across many neighborhood bars in a 30 mile radius.

As Bill (RedRider) mentioned, it's probably the biggest gear mecca outside the LA area. DestroyAllGuitars, Fatsound, Indoor Storm and Soundpure have amazing gear ... then there's all the local builders.

I'm from the Northeast, and Raleigh feels like 'home' now.... great place to live.
