One of the Zoomer terms I've really come to love is "NPC." It's an acronym for "Non-Player Character," and refers to any character in a video game you're playing that isn't controlled by a human being.

Its alternate meaning super popped off during the lockdown, with camera phone footage of various bizarre encounters with seemingly mindless people became associated with the term "NPC." Youtube is shitload full of examples.

I've encountered that many hostile assholes over the past 5 years who will jump into private conversations I'm having with friends and needle me, over and over again, by saying "oh yeah?" or "is that so?" over and over again ad nauseam. Finally, thanks to the advanced etymological technology Zoomers have tirelessly worked at, their vernacular has created a word I can use to define these fucking idiots.
