the other neighbourhood is a great website if you're a lawyer who doesn't mind larping court procedures with their mod team

here's a fun one:

there's nothing wrong with being a professional musician but many of them need to get the royal fuck over themselves. self-lionization among far too many. you're a fucking performer, asshole, now get back onstage and dance for your owners.

firefighters are heroes. you're just a fucking musician asshole, the same as myself. we're deeply unimportant compared to people who save lives every fucking day.

and don't give me that 'we're the reason this bar makes money' bullshit either. the bar owner's an even bigger asshole than you are

I don't think it counts as a controversial opinion when you're speaking the truth.

John Bonham was the worst rock drummer in history. No groove, no technique, no power, no sense of authority in his playing and couldn't tune his drum kit worth a damn.

My new great grandson is only a year old. I gave him drumsticks when he was 6 months old and he's a much better drummer than John Bonham ever was.

Most stock Gibson and Fender pickups from the 70's and 80's are unbeatable examples of sonic excellence.

Larry DiMarzio, Rob Turner, Seymour Duncan, Jason Lollar, Lindy Fralin and other "pickup gurus" don't know anything about tone.
