Because there is a precedent set by law (trespassing laws) that entities (government or private) have the legal right to set terms for a person entering their property.


And yes I realize shall not be infringed and prohibiting firearms on property are in conflict. It's a weird conflict. On one hand you/a person or the gov't establishment can deny anyone entry to their property for any reason, but a gun owner has every right to carry where they see fit. There's no real way to resolve it. Personally I avoid frequenting those establishments.

Also RE Tommy Guns, SCOTUS just granted cert in two cases which are likely to reign in states that ban semi autos and other infringements. Not all Tommy Guns are full auto. And yes, the states that ban full auto are infringing. The feds regulating it is an infringement. Guess we should just let them infringe away huh ?
