Prefer pickups that are open and organic, but razor tight and responsive, articulate and warm, not sterile but surgically precise, with good mids but not bad mids, and EMG's are always bad and BKP are always the best = spends more time on the Internet than trying out actual gear

Excellent Marshall clone = I realized I can buy an actual Marshall for cheaper than this half ass kit someone with a well known last name built. Note-this works for Fender also.

Speakers broken in = speakers broken

Well loved = fell off truck, run over...some sucker will get hosed on this

Just received it but no gelling with it = Saw UPS guy drop in coming up to door, amp is DOA, too bad can't see if from my house

Feeler- here's an overrated piece of gear that I covet so much that I can barely set a price on it; feel free to pm me for a price that will gouge you...all the while know that I (the seller) am doing you a favor by making this available

This guitar has tone for days = This guitar sounds like fishing wire attached to a waterlogged piece of particle board, and I am just hoping some sucker will take this off my hands for close to what I paid for it.....

I bought one of those...as a matter of fact, you may be describing that exact guitar

This also applies to WTB ads. For example....

WTB, I want a Marshall sounding amp that's not a Marshall. = Well, I'm not about this one? Maybe a Mesa guy who likes Van Halen.

It sounds more like a Marshall than a Marshall= I should have bought a Marshall

got any more pics? = im not really buying it I just want to see if i can make you jump through hoops cause im psychologically fucked up.

Its just too dark for me= I dont really know what I want

Its just too bright for me = I dont really know what I want.

I dont need the VH sound anymore = I heard Rockstah play it and this amp doesnt sound like the one he was playing.

This Mark IV sounds as good as my IIC+. In fact, I should probably just keep it but there is no need for two of the same amp. = Sounds like crap compared to my IIC+. If I keep comparing it to the IIC+ someone will most likely buy it.

My loss is your gain = Hurry and buy before I have to pay 26% interest on my maxed out credit card.

I bought it thinking I would have more time to do home recording, but I have realized I just don't. Believe the hype, as the tones coming out of this thing sound just like the real deal = I drank the Kool-Aid and it has turned my stomach. I can't wait to unload this thing and get myself a tube amp again.

;)

I have collected too many guitars, it's time to thin the herd = this one sounds the worst out of all of my guitars
Beautiful quilt top, great player, mint condition = this one sounds the worst out of all of my guitars
I've realized I'm not a Les Paul guy, I'm a strat guy = this one sounds the worst out of all of my guitars

Haven't had enough time to mess around with it = How the fuck do I turn this thing on?
The best amp I ever played = I really do think you're an idiot for believing I'd sell the best amp I've ever played

+1 :hys:

This is the BEST ___________ I have ever heard and kills (insert big brand name here) all day long for a fraction of the price!

Equals

I am selling this to get the (insert big brand name here)

Has a few stains that should clean up with little effort = won't come off otherwise I would have removed them already and asked for more money.

Still has the plastic on the screen = I re-applied the plastic before I took the picture.

Buy it before I change my mind = I'm creating tension in the hopes you're an impulse buyer.

(known rock star name her) owned it= I heard from a friend of a friend of a friend that ( known rock star) owned it.

I'm not gigging at the moment so can't justify having this $3k amp lying around. As a result, it's time to move it out to someone that will be using it = This amp is old news and I am GASSING hard for a different $3k amp, so somebody take this off my hands (for far above market value) so I can get what I really want (at the moment).

This is the amp I dreamt of owning for years and, even though I wish I could keep it, financial issues force a sale = After lusting after this amp forever, I finally got it and have realized it's truly a piece of shit. Somebody pity me and buy this antiquated piece of junk!

I really do love this amp = I HATE THIS FUCKING AMP!

"It even has a serviceable clean channel" = Terrible cleans.
"You just have to know how to set the eq" = I was never happy with the tone, you won't be either.
"This amp is responsive" = Now even your neighbors will enjoy your horrendous picking technique.
"This amp needs the right cabinet to shine" = This amp is awful, and I can't admit it to myself.
"I play better with 9's" = I have sensitive, deskjob fingerpads :) (just kidding!)

The global translation of almost ALL posts:

[Enter WHATEVER explanation here] = No matter what amp/guitar/stomp/gear I buy, I still suck when playing it.
