I mean, even if the EVH speaker was REALLY rated for 25 watts, you're still pushing the limits of the speaker when ROCKING THE FUCK OUT on your 100 watt amplifier.

If you wanted to argue that you could blow up a speaker, we have already conceded that if you use a high gain amp like a thegearpage moron like yourself would (gotta crank it so it gives up the goods) there is no question that you would put the speakers at risk of blowing.

If you wanted to argue what the spec sheet says, we have already conceded that they purposefully and ignorantly mislabled them (not for safety reasons) for marketing reasons.

If you want to argue that you can blow a tranny better than anyone here...we all concede this.

But you need to pick an arguement and stick with it if you truly want to win.

Continuously telling us the amp will blow makes you look like a moron. Continuously saying it will cost them hundreds if not thousands in damage makes you look like a moron.

Yup pretty much. We aren't all rock stars and if that shit happens we can't just flick our fingers and get new shit just like that or at least most of us thats why its a real risk to be aware of.


Dudes have done this all the time and it's well documented even a bare minimum can cause your speakers to blow up and this is why even Jim at Scumback suggest you use 8 20w speakers and not 4..... Nvm again these things aren't even covered by warranty either and Celestion does cover theirs as long as it's not mishandled or misused.

The point is it's a real risk and unless you're aware of it this can/may happen and well nvm the BS and fuck the noise...... I ain't the one telling people here to do stupid shit and ignore the real risk here and no skin off my back.
