I've blown many speakers but none of them ever smoked or started on fire they just started farting out like a fat old man with gut issues. It can be kind of a downer vs arcing a tube when actual smoke and stuff comes out the amp. Much more exciting to blow amps vs speakers but blowing speakers is usually cheaper and you can still brag to your friends how speakers can't handle your guitar skillz. :yes:

100% if you dimed the master. But no one does that with a high gain amp because it turns to mush. This is what you do with a low gain amp because the powersection breakup is what actually brings the gain on a low gain amp. The cab is made for an evh 5153 100 watt amp. If you see people diming the master, then that is something to consider. Probably won't blow a speaker still, but it is possible

This is what Kid is failing to understand when the original question was asking about a good cab to pair with an EVH Stealth. No high gain player in their right mind is gonna crank the master on a high gain amp. (honestly if they do they kinda deserve to blow a speaker :ROFLMAO:) On a low gain JTM sure and you want more power handling on the speakers. But Kid heard over on TGP once you gotta crank the volume to 11 to get the goods and applied that to every amp on the planet. Which is why he's over here arguing the cab made to go with the Stealth is gonna blow up everything.
