The Rev F is still the greatest high gain amp ever made.

Just like you said so in the goddamn thread title?
Tell me this, as a kid you never played well in the sandbox with others, did you?

Do you purposely come in to my threads to start shit? tell me this, did you as a kid or you as an adult ever enjoy sarcasm or jokes? Did people tell jokes you often didn’t get? Did you have a hard time reading the line that says “ it was just a clickbait title”?

Also, you’re wrong. Per usual.

Try not to get your blood presssure up, you’re obviously too easily razzled.

You deserve a signature amplifier. Change the I into an O on your favorite amp and voila.

Yea! We will call it… the mark IIC+ TDS…. That doesn’t suck…. And we will make a custom version for deaf folks such as yourself called the AUOA model… actually used on albums.

You still butthurt man? Would you like a hug?

Oh, it's the C+ thing. I get it now. Instead of a hug let's bury the hatchet by having a cold one in celebration of the two greatest Mesas ever made, the Mark 2 C+ and Rev C Recto. I'm buying!

Your clips are always interesting to check out and appreciated on here. They don't need clickbait titles to get attention on here imo. It's not like YouTube where that's needed. Just my 2 cents. I don't really care, but I think some don't like it because they want cut and dry info to things without all the internet hyperbole that tends to happen on forums and sadly also on those YouTube gear channels that get so many views

Solid point, I myself hate the YouTube “ IS THIS THE GREATEST METAL AMP EVERZ!?!?”’ Titles myself. I’ll try and not make this into that trend haha!

Best explanation I've seen yet (y)

I'll echo one last time that the pedal does NOT sound good with every amp. It shines and sounds best with amps that have excess flabby bass, most particularly, the Mesa Rectifier.
Interesting insight. In that case, it wouldn't sound good with a Rev C. There is not excessive bass, and it's not flubby.

You're almost there! The two greatest Mesa amps ever created are the Rev C and the Mark IIB+ Coliseum. ;)

Naw brotha, it’ll still be absolutely immense with that amp, for sure. It’s not so much about too much bass as it is about cleaning up the low end that is there. It doesn’t really cut the low end unlike the other clones. The input section of that amp is still a recto through and through: it’ll be fantastic guaranteed.

Love me some rectifier. My personal favorites are the multi watt and tremoverb. Rev f is amazing too.

I don't have a Rev C, but have a Rev D & Badlander, so should at least be close. The DT was imo pretty good with those amps, but imo the Dino and Fortin TS's were better to me. The new Fortin 808 especially imo smokes all of those for metal through those amps imo. And I repeat I'm otherwise a Fortin hater except for his TS mods, but I'll play anything that sounds good enough

I had a few Rectos back in the late 90s and early 00's. I wish I would have known which were which at the time as far as revisions. I don't remember anyone even talking about it. I feel like I could take any Dual Recto off the shelf and make it work for me.

I avoid those kinds of videos these days. I've unsubscribed a while ago to channels like Fluff, Ola and a few others because I just realized after a while I was not getting any useful info from them. I was really just getting dad jokes and not even good ones at that

I think Kyle Bull may be the only non bullshit guy in YouTube land as far as strictly metal amp reviewers go. Or at least the least amount of bullshit going on.

For metal he very well might be. I'm still subscribed to him, Reza and Segeborn. Segeborn has been by far most helpful for me, especially his speaker shootouts. Kyle is very entertaining, so I mostly watch for that, but not really much gear he shows that I've not already tried (unlike Reza who gets many 1st's at things) and his overall recorded sound is imho a bit muffled and undefined/lacking detail. I'm not that good at recording either (I don't have the time these days to work on it), but imo already get better results than that sound. Video editing like that though I really don't wanna learn lol, so props to him for that. Reza and Segeborn's stuff is way easier to crank for the most part I'd think
