I think he get's less credit than he should. He's contributed to some pretty damn good songs.

After a few Tremonti interviews and hearing him do Sinatra, I came to the conclusion that he is a cat I would love to hang with and will definitely try to see live.

I never understood the Tremonti hate. Tremonti is a good guitarist, it seemed obvious at the time, I just don't like Creed. Somehow with his massive fame Stapp was never able to swing his success into a grocery store chain like the dude from Nickelback did.

Yeah. He's also a pretty decent general musician. He sings well. I never liked Creed either. Scott Stapp seemed like an intoxicated asshole at basically every turn.

I always dug that whammy bar raise at the beginning of the "Love on the Rocks" solo. He definitely was a good fit for the band and that type of music.
