I am not Jewish no. And I don't have any Jewish friends. And the ones I have worked for I'd like to punch in the face. There are a couple guys I've taken some classes with, but if I didn't care for them I wouldn't tell them about it. Fairly serious dudes.

I have great respect for their military, particularly their special forces guys and Mossad. And they make fine, very reliable weapons, though truth be told I'd have a hard time putting anyone up against HKs shit. That's end of the world party shit there.

As you know each Catholic parish is driven by their head priest and in my case our priest regularly said the Jews were the chosen ones.

I was young so I can't say for certain whether he was mocking that claim or was serious. I thought he was serious.
I'd find it difficult to believe, since Jews do not believe in Christ as the savior. Which ALL Christians view as the only path to heaven.

I'd still rather have a FAL than a Galil but I might take a Galil over an AK, I dunno, lol. Everything is gonna be anecdotal and based around experiences, not worth an argument. I haven't cleaned my AK in about five years it still goes boom. I do think the Germans innovated more than anyone. Saive (well he's Belgian) essentially pioneered the modern sporting rifle and finished off the hi-power which is still the basis for many pistols. His successor finalized the FN MAG which is still a design in service since the early 50's. If you want to say Israeli's have made some nice guns I wouldn't disagree.

I think you are mistaking what you did or didn't hear in church as did/didn't view them as the chosen people. A quick google search turns up a variety of theological perspectives among lutheran orgs.
Fal's are great. Russian AKs are junk. Newer AK variants, with decent barrels and decent twist rates are good. I still never had the urge to buy one. If I did it would be forged and most likely American.

Chosen to do what?

Control banking, money lending and finance throughout all of written history?

And then they moved to Hollywood...

I'm not mistaking dude. You're probably reading shit from the other branch of Lutherans maybe, which I know fuck all about. I assure you none of the people in any circles I ever was in thought jews were the chosen people after the new testament.
I didn't say you were mistaken. Besides reading the bible, how much lutheran theology did you study from lutheran theologians? That's what I'm saying. I'm not lutheran so other than being aware they are one of a few protestant churches that still have liturgy I am not familiar with the different divisions so make of this below what you will.

From a google AI search:
Key Aspects of the Discussion:
  • Irrevocable Covenant: Many Lutheran groups, such as the EKHN and some interpretations of the ELCA, hold that God has not abandoned his covenant with the Jewish people, often citing Paul's writings in Romans 9-11.
  • Theological Diversity: Some Lutherans, particularly within the LCMS, focus on the idea that the "true Israel" or descendants of Abraham are those who believe in Jesus Christ, potentially blurring the distinction between ethnic Jews and the Church.
  • Rejection of Replacement Theology: Many Lutheran denominations have officially disavowed "Replacement Theology," which argues that the Church has completely replaced the Jewish people in God's plan.
  • Historical Context: While Lutherans today often express a commitment to loving, respectful relationships with the Jewish community, modern synods generally renounce the harsh anti-Semitic writings of Martin Luther, as seen in the LCMS statement.

I don't know man. Back before there was a Christ, they were the only ones who weren't heathens or Muslims. I think the whole Ishmael and Issac thing ya know. Then the Jews started worshipping golden cows and what not and god was like, yeah, fuck you guys. Something like that.

There's the Lutheran Church and then there's the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. You are mixing the two together I would assume, because nowhere in any of the teachings I had or my parent's had did anyone intimate that the Jews had not broken their covenant with God.

Chinese
Mongols

This is what I'm saying, different experiences, different opinions. A lot of guys hold the Russian AK's in high regard. The Vepr is a cadillac. I bought the kid a Saiga. It's....an AK, lol.

In the 90's I must've heard people call AK's pieces of shit a million times every time dudes busted out the chinese Polytechs, which are now extremely sought after and thought to be among the best produced. Amazing turn of events lol. TBH I haven't seen any USA produced AK I would throw money at. Maybe Krebs but that's $$$. The PSA stuff has had too many bad reviews but other guys love them so it seems like a crap shoot. The Finnish Valmet is probably the nicest of any AK but that's anecdotal from guys I knew who had safes full of different versions.

I got a Romanian G kit on a Nodak Spud by Arizona Response Systems. Mark Graham is well known for his work and had served in special forces before becoming a gunsmith. It's been a solid weapon and I had dudes offering me double what I paid for it before I even laid hands on it....

Well, I am no AK expert that's for sure so I will defer to you. The Saiga, while not my favorite by a long stretch, is the only external mag fed shotgun that isn't a piece of shit though. Well, besides the AA12.

Gotcha. As I said, I have no idea of Lutheran theology. Per the google search is says that many lutheran denominations have disavowed replacement theology, even though replacement theology is 100 percent scriptural.

Oh... You're one of those guys. ;) ;)

I only buy SIGs made in Germany.

HK... Germany preferred... but I won't turn down a good USA HK.

Glolck... Austrian only.

Majority of my handguns are HK.
I have too many for a majority of them to be HKs, but I have a few and a few more on my short list. They are definitely my favs though and the ones I trust the most. Though I gotta say this Masada S I bought a couple years ago has been my daily for a long while and I can't find anything to not like about it. It excels at AIWB, shoots almost as good as the VP9, albeit with a slightly heavier and grittier trigger and has taken a shitload of abuse from me with zero issues.

IMO the VP9 is the best all around striker fired gun made. The Walther has a slightly better trigger ( I have a couple of those too), but I think as a whole the VP9 is the better gun. Just a fucking tank man and accurate as fuck. Then we have the P30s, which are fucking killer once you get rid of that ridiculous hook ass trigger and put a GG trigger kit w/springs in them. USP is bombproof, Mark 23. P7 and the mother fucking MP5, the end all be all of pistol caliber "Carbines".

Agree 1000% on the VP9... I have 6. :)
HK45 is really smooth too.

My SIG X5 German custom shops in SS are really nice and super smooth. Super easy to clean too.

I've moved on in handguns to 2011 race guns like Staccato XC, Staccato P (for carry), Atlas Nemesis, CZ Shadow 2 Custom
