Their live tones are so cool

A few years ago, my wife blessed me with tickets in the pit at their Las Vegas residency. I was right in front of Vivian the whole show. I was so close, I could have touched his guitars if I wanted to....

They sounded great! They all looked like they were having fun. Even though they had IEM's, the the volume at the pit level was nice and loud, but clear....

My understanding was that they were using AxeFx3's

When you hear Phil Collen's sound all alone like in a 'demo' format, it seems like way more top end and way more gain than most would ever dial in. But in the full mix, his sound does exactly what it is supposed to be doing. I think Viv has always had great tone throughout all the changes in amps and guitars.

That’s sweet . That would be so unreal . I got to see Eddie’s from 5 feet away in balance tour just blasted buy his 5150s . See him chugging his o doles beers lol . Fuck if I could go back in time . I wish we could rewind our lives live videos to relive moments . Like you can’t change them .yoi just go back lol

On this they used jmp 1s both guys

Saw them earlier this summer on the european tour, still just a great band with a great live sound. We were front row just in front of Phil.

Great observation - I have hit that age where I have finally realized that 'time' is no longer the resource that I have the most of. Rather than let it bum me out, I am trying to get out of my 'routine' and say yes to anything that I have become accustomed to saying 'maybe next time' to. Next time is now! I know that doesn't get me back in line to re-live some of my greatest experiences - but it gets me out on the field to hopefully add a few more great experiences to the list!

Another frustrating thing about that clip, Phil is 68 years and looks in a way better physical shape than i am 🤣😂... I now know i should have lived a rock'n'roll lifestyle

It must be tough for those fellas to tour with Phil Collen. Such a scrawny little dweeb trying to portray that he's a tough guy. He's one of those guy's that picks a fight with you and then when you get ready to mix it up, he says "hold on" and takes his shirt off thinking that his little soloflex girly muscles will scare you

def leppard always sounds pretty homo erotic to my ears, and i don't like that, call me homophobic.
But yeah, that is a crazy clean mix for a live show!
