Great prices in the uk and all the reviews are positive. Any experiences? Other 7's I should check out? I don't like the ibanez 7 neck too thin and flat

I don't know of anything that will compare anywhere near their price. I have not tried their 7 strings, but I LOVE my TL60. It will blow away any PRS. I would pull the trigger. Great quality + great price + return policy = SOLD!

Just choosing the options now. Going to get the quote on monday

I had one earlier, great guitar. Stock pu`s were a little weak for my tastes, but that`s the easiest mod.
The pickup cavities are a little smaller than normal, so if you want to get replacement pu`s, you might want to go with DiMarzios. They have a plastic baseplate, and you can sand off a little from them. I did that to my EVO 7, and it worked very well.

If you don't mind the EMGs, you might want to look into the Schecter 7 string series. Their necks are fairly beefy.

I had a fixed bridge 727 that I liked quite a bit. The only things I didn't like were the stock pickups which I replaced, and the lack of a trem which is why I sold the guitar.

If Carvin would offer a real OFR 7 on these, I would have owned one long ago. I even offered to buy it separate and ship it to them, but apparently their body blanks are already routed for their LFR trem.

They've got a DC747 in "electric blue" on their "in stock" page right now for $724.00. All kinds of other great prices on other electrics, too. If I had the scratch, that DC747 would be mine.
