TM Axe-II Waitlist Update

I got my coupon the other day. It's in stock. I'm not sure if I'm gonna buy one or not. I'm not sure I really want one because I'm happy with what I have, but theirs profit potential. lol

I guess I could sell off some effects and use it as an effects unit.

This is one reason I posted it. I have seen two claims of, "Got coupon, but none in stock," yet others have received coupons since and gotten one. I wonder how many coupons are never cashed in? Used simply to cash in on demand exceeding supply? If supply were plentiful, how long before sales would taper off to a more *normal*, averaged number of units per month (for instance)? How many would sell in that first week?

Ughhh...been 7 weeks now since the last order shipped from Fractal...

Still waiting to hear back from Rob at TM...he said he was going to see Cliff and get back to me on a ship date/estimate, but that was late last week...

Anyone else hear anything about when the next shipment might be???

I would say you will see another update first .adding the Lonestar ,the Ir capability and perhaps a redone tweaked Cameron CCV I think TM will get another batch this month

This month could be another 3 weeks from now, making it 10 weeks from the last shipment...

What do you base this thought on? Have you gotten a response from someone?

No. just the fact that I think an update is close and all units ship with the latest firmware .and he was in La at the Amp show ..and it takes a week to get to La after it ships anyway
..again just a guess not in stone ,Fractal could ship tommorrow for all I know..

if it 3 weeks its 3 weeks not much we can do about it

It's hard to be patient and not get annoyed when most on the TM list have paid for the product ahead of time, but we see Fractal Audio shipping out to it's own list, and to newcomers who pay $2600, all while FAS refuses to address TM customers. The conflicting explanations for the delay between TM/FAS certainly don't help either.

Honestly, if we don't get a shipment or some solid information this month, I'm probably going to grab a refund and put money into a desktop POD and Soldano Avenger instead, unless there's still room in the first batch of DAR's new amplifiers.

Mine came and went - sold unopened. I'm now awaiting the TM list one. I've heard through the grapevine that there was a slight delay (production issue) with some units direct from Fractal. I have good intel to believe that everything's working out just dandy with Rob and TM and the orders from Cliff. I know TM was pretty involved with the LA amp show, and I know there were some things building up to that event. Should be business as usual very soon.

It's not an easy place for anyone - TM, Rob, Cliff, us - they're in high demand, it's a small company (FAS), and any disruption to production or the like causes a ripple effect. Sure, more concise solid information would be beneficial to all of us, but their time is spent creating the product and trying to avoid the speculation and craziness that happens online with us here and on other forums.

It's not an easy situation for everyone involved. I said all I had to say about it so there's nothing more to add. In a way, the waiting is a good thing, a lot of issues get worked out in the process and once the unit gets here, it's going to be better and potentially more stable than the early ones.

Man, like you wouldn't believe... Especially listening to the latest Animals as Leaders, Periphery... I'm frothing pretty bad to get into perfect recording mode again. Don't get me wrong, I love my amps - I gotta say though, the amount of time and painstaking care it took to mic up my 2 rigs last weekend to get some soundclips was a MAJOR reminder of why I love the Axe so much

They have been selling Axe FX IIs despite the shortage for awhile. It was probably only a momentary problem.

I just PM'd Rob again...hopefully he responds this time...if not, I'll have to call...Long periods of time with no communication just makes it worse at this point...
