TSL issues??

Dude on market place is selling a TSL for $350 obo, says it stopped working last week but the tubes still light up. Any known major problems with these? Could be just a fuse?? Dudes only a couple towns over, would you take the risk??

The older (pre 04) 100's have the bias drift issue. Not saying it is what it is, but see the serial number on it or check the boards (JCM2-60-00 and JCM2-60-02)

you might as well build a whole amp ....... unless the board is populated and for the most part " plug and Play "

Very easy if you're the slightest bit handy... just takes patience. I recommend Brad's boards but, any revision 20 or new production should work. Could walk you through it if you need help. Just finished fixing one.
Typically, swapping the main board (power tubes, preamp etc ) resolves all the issues.

(I would recommend however a snuffer stick and a multi meter.... you never know.)
