I LOOOOOVE Opeth, but when i saw them live in the early 2000's ,before they really blew up, and they were tuning on stage while the crowd shouted things, my friends and i kind of snickered at it like "Why doesn't he just trust his fucking tech!?" He'd get handed a new guitar before a song, and tune it on stage as soon as he put it on

Tune your guitars quietly and quickly with a pedal

Get a polytune or strobostomp if you are out gigging in the wild like a grownup, and learn the idiosyncrasies of your instrument so you can tune it quickly
