Two notes torpedo live vs torpedo studio?

I need one of these units pretty bad. Maybe if I get a decent tax return. Maybe one will fall out of the sky and land in my lap.

Was looking to see if there were any vids or audio that shows the same clip from both units as the converters on the Studio are supposed to be better/more robust. I am correct that the Live will still let you use 2 impulses but will NOT split them to stereo out?

I have never seen a comparison of the 2 units against each other. I haven't really done this myself either. I also had never seen a demo of the power amps in the Torpedo but they aren't bad either.

I grabbed the Live as the Studio wasn't in stock. I have 30 days to check it out and see if it will do what I need. If not, I will send it back and grab the Studio. I need to read up on how to get this connected properly. For the Live, are you still able to use WoSIII or do you need to use Torpedo Remote? The manual says WoS is compatible but it's not super clear.

I sent him those last week lol....you're right they're badass, but I went in reverse and got those first, then tried the TN cabs...I like the TN's stuff better.

Well, admittedly, I have not tried all of the ones that came with the Studio I really really like the "412 ORN" Ownhammer impulse the best so far.

Same here. My favorites are the ORN v30/57s from the Heavy Hitters Pack.

Brownyback is probably my fave from Two Notes.

I moved up to the Studio about a month ago and sold my Live. Was a great decision for my situation and it really does sound fabulous. The optional Two Notes cabs that you can buy online are amazing!

Do you know if I can use my vh4 stereo head with ether of them?

Reviving this thread as I'm in a similar position to yourself Jonl, Diezel VH4S head and trying to find the best solution for both live and studio purposes. Because of running stereo I've accepted I most likely need two units, given this, the 1u footprint of the live is very appealing (keeping the overall footprint to 2u), but I don't want to compromise on sound/quality, but then again (2x) of the studio units with a 4u footprint is a tad excessive.

Anyone have a fix/solution?
