I'd probably hop on that. I'm in the midst of re-acquiring a Fryette ps right now to get back into recording stuff at home.

They are unbelievably nice and easy to use for that. You can just run the line out of the PS into an interface, and use IRs, and do completely silent recording. I've done it before! If you don't feel like getting a mic out it's an incredibly easy solution.

You can also run the effect send to your interface, but obviously you don't have as much control - either of the amp volume or the signal volume - so it's a little more difficult. But there are so many options nowadays for recording it's insane.

I found the Suhr the most convenient mostly because of the existing IR's, but it's worth the extra bucks for me to have the post fx loop and a means of volume control for my amps! I had a ps2a before, but I sold a bunch of stuff earlier in the year in a pinch and it moved easy lol. My Gretsch and Dr Z are both nmv, so I barely get to play them at home. The 2203 is still good at lower volumes, but we all know how it sounds best. It's hard to get together with anyone lately, I'm dying to play more.

Yeah a power station would be the perfect piece of gear to get more out of what you already have, 100%. Honestly for all of your amps. I freaking love me some Z, and i'm glad it's getting some love on RT because his amps are freakin phenomenal.

If you have an interface though, just record some DIs and I'll figure out a tone for ya! Lay down some shteel!

That sounds GREAT!

Thanks for listening brother! Next time you should throw down some leads!
