Good to see EVH not being a drunk turd and even though DLR is a flamboyant wrinkle factory at least he's having fun haha

I heard Eddie Trunk mention the singer in Steel Panther as a possible replacement for DLR in Van Halen. I thought that was a brilliant idea. That guy would even have the range to sing Hagar's songs too. The possibility of a new album is slim given the bad relationship between DLR and Eddie.

Wow, they sound really good. DLR has toned down the clown act and the band is pulling off these songs well - songs that I don't think were ever meant to be performed live. Nice.
Roth skipping the old man dancing is a welcome change.

If we could only get EVH to play some new riffs it would be awesome.
New riffs on iconic classic songs? Why?
I mean new riffs during the standalone solo.

Ralph Saenz of Steel Panther would definitely be an improvement over Dave. Ralph does VH Dave better than DLR ever did. Checkout the videos on youtube of the Atomic Punks with Ralph and Russ. Russ plays most of the VH stuff better than Eddie as well.

EVH..

DLR..

I think it's time to move on from DLR when the tour is over. They gave the fans just about 8 years of DLR since 07.

Sammy would've been good with a healthy evh unlike the 04 tour, but that's over too I guess.

Who knows, never say never. The idea of the steel panther guy, I don't like personally and it goes in the DLR direction which I'm done with also.

Man, that WOULD be outstanding. That dude is a killer vocalist and would pull that gig off MUCH better than current day Roth. Didn't he sing in a VH tribute band before? I'm a bigger Van Hagar fan that the Roth stuff, so it's a major bummer to me that they aren't doing ANY of those songs on these tours.
