So funny critics , arm folded know it alls !!
Like David Lee Roth , David Coverdale or any other aging rock stars , they walked the walk and talked the talk !!
Have the lp's tours and stories to tell !!!
What's your story ???
Oh that's right who cares !!!!
Get over yourself !!!!
They are having fun and making money doing it !!!
I'm sure if any of us had the opportunity we would be doing the same !!!

I mean, has Dave really fallen that far?

Great point!!

I just think he's gotten a lot creepier. I saw him solo at a club about 10 years ago when he had long thinning spaghetti hair still. I remember him getting in some 18 year old girls face a couple of times and saying "I'm going to fuck the shit out of you tonight baby wahooo !!!" It wasn't funny or cool and it wasn't just me - the crowd didn't like it either. It was like someone's grandpa going up to your kid sister or something. CREEEEPY!

So if he tone it down just a tad it might be a fun tour to see with the right expectations set. No bad grandpa though please! :D

All that you said doesn't change the fact that his vocals were absolutely HORRIBLE on this and the Kimmel broadcast. Totally unacceptable. If one can''t do any better than that, then someone should stand in. For the record, I had no problem with the rest of the band.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

I have to agree here with..........Almost nobody, except the guys who don`t drag DLR down the drain :gethim:

Come on, he`s what, 60 i hear, not to bad let me tell you. Like mentioned before, let`s hear and see all your accomplishments in the music biz,........ Thought so.

I too feel he`s not the DLR we used to know, but so are all of us here, we`re growing older and changing, like it or not. He might have a too big of a smile and seem too happy, but guess what, he`s always been that way.

I really enjoyed this performance and they sounded pretty amazing, even Dave was great, i`ve seen worse.

I give them my thumbs up and support, keep the rock and roll going strong, we need it.

Chris

Band again, sounds great...Dave though is just so awkward to even watch, and the off pitch screeching novelty sucks.

Would have been better in the original key, but it was awesome, i'll take whatever live VH I can get!
Still laughing at how wide Dave's smile was :D

And Dave is WAY too happy to be there

Its not that hes that happy....Its all the plastic surgery. Hes had so much his ears almost touch and he can't close his mouth.

But Eds still my hero....

Yikes.
It's almost like a parody of VH with really, really bad actors.

Seeing that vid makes it clear to me that Michael Anthony should be in there on bass and backing vocals. He a big part of the VH sound.

1. DLR sings the songs as they were originally recorded. Best attempt anyway.
2. DLR hair weave + Smilex antidote.
3. M. Anthony - bass and backing vocals.
4. EVH playing Marshall amplifiers.

Fixed! :D

I thought they all sounded like shit on the Ellen show except for Alex. He is the real reason that band ticks. They constantly blow their timing and he could just as easily get caught up in that but he holds the ship steady. Ed sounded bad here, that tone is horrendous. for the life of me I can't understand why you guys like so much saturation in your tone? Yes it is easier to play lead but for rythm? It gets buried. Wolfgang needs to diet. That simple. Yeah someone's weight shouldn't matter but when you are pushin 275-300 it might be time to take a step back and wonder about your lifestyle choices. Glad i saw them a few years back, it was a good show apart from DLR.

Wolfgang looks swollen, like perhaps the issue may be prescription drug-related -- not illegal drugs -- such as anti-depressants or the like. Not saying it is in any way, shape, or form, but it might explain the weight gain.

I saw a good friend of mine put on a good 70 lbs after he got on antidepressants. He certainly has the right, seeing all the stuff he has seen. Either way, here's to good health for him.

That's not DLR onstage, it's his ventriloquist puppet of himself, it's all robotic and wireless. He controls it from backstage with his iPad via bluetooth.
