I have the Diezel Paul and Hiwatt Super Hi 50 both on the way to audition, return windows on both. If either one goes back, this one's coming in. Love what I'm hearing now that I've heard more demos. It's like the fizz that plagues the modern Oranges is mostly gone, has great mids, tight low end, can doom or thrash on the same setting.

A friend of mine who I trust 100% and has a sick collection says it kills.
Loves a boost and does a Recto orange type tone but with richer and juicier mids.
Also hits hard and sounds huge for 60 watts.
It’s the next amp on my hit list.

I have one, and I think it's a great amp. I've been using it in 30 watt mode and it has more of the hazy classic Orange thing going on, and a little bit of give in the pick attack. The 60 watt mode feels stiffer and more "metal", closer to the Rockerverb I'd say. But for thick heavy rhythm playing I like it a lot. For downtuned heavy doomy stuff it's awesome. There is still nice clarity on the top end. The 2nd master volume is useful for live lead playing. And it's plenty loud in both modes. The Nick Bowcott demo is a pretty good representation of what it can do.

I've gotta say after listening through some real speakers it sounds fantastic. The most surprising thing for me was the fact I actually liked the dirty tones with the bright switch engaged, which is highly unusual.

I found these when i was looking for a used OR60: There seems to be at least 2 different versions. How much gain do they have? More like classic, right?

Mine was a 76. It wasn't modern gain, but it got mean when you pushed it. It was higher gain by vintage standards.

There's a lot of different iterations throughout the 70s, then they had a short run of reissues in the 90s where Matamp was actually building them. I think the 90's reissues were OR 120 Overdrives, which had a master volume. The 70's OR80 and OR120 were very loud NMV amps with this vintage Orange sound that I think of as "foggy". Low and low mid heavy stoner rock perfection. The modern Orange sounds nothing like the old ones.

I played one live once. Used it as a Peal plattform. Sounded really nice.

Last vintage one I played many years ago was an Overdrive model like the 2nd one. About as much gain as a Marshall of the same era. Had a really nice tone and sounded great for punk rock palm mutes.

I've gotta say the video was impressive. Very thick, and ballsy with good punch and a nasty midrange grind. I'd love to hear it in the room, and see how it compares to my Matamp once the Master is wide open.My buddy says it hits like a truck for a 60 watt.

Looks sick. Is it just a higher wattage OR30? Those are super loud for 30 watts.
Orange is super cool for how often they come up with new amps.
