I still have on my iTunes and listen to several bands that went by the wayside or never "popped".

Some of them are:

Expanding Man
Magna-Fi
Earshot
Econoline Crush
Dope
Swell
Socialburn
10 Years

im currently playing with the drummer from econoline crush. i love sick puppies

Virgos
Virgos Merlot
Burden Brothers
Dead Letter Circus
Injected

I was lucky enough to see this band live 4 times back in the 80's. They were way ahead of their time musically, put on great stage shows and sounded amazing live. This was a song from an album back from 1981 starts off mellow but gets very heavy fast.

RIP WOW

also, though they arent necessarily the best musically i just think theyre hilarious. its not for everyone, its dark/black comedy.

bucketheads old band, Deli Creeps

I love "Grampa Bill" lol reminds me of my grampa

Ya, I'm shocked these guys never made it.

Starz, One of the 70's lost gems. 4 good to great albums. They still play for the fans, I saw them in Detroit in 2007, they still sound great.

Yeah man, Starz opened for everybody who was anyone in the 70's in St. Louis. Great band. And they had some good material that just never caught on.

Not really a band, but I always loved Tony Macalpine and never thought he got enought credit:

The Ducks. Russ Parrish's band from the early 2000s. (Russ is Satchel from Steel Panther). Was poppier stuff but I dug it. Also thought The Bears should have been bigger than they were - Adrian Belew on guitar, how can you miss?

Pete

Active again now, with a new killer album

Angel Witch

Pentagram

Trouble

And I thought I was the only person that dug these guys. I still listen to Manic Impressions fairly regularly.
